Eyes of Auburn

by Alexandra Allen

Your eyes shine brightly,

The stars can't compare.

They pale in comparison,

To your glimmering stare.

Sweet like pure honey,

They glitter with gold.

Freckled with soft auburn,

A true sight to behold.

Painted with viridian,

Consumed by natures beauty,

Holding riches far deeper

Then even the vaster sea.

A wondrous cascade

Of saccharine hues,

Dashing and elegant,

I could forever gaze into.

Hazel is simply perfect,

More beautiful than blue,

And nothing could compare

To the way it looks on you.
